Fundraising Launchpad
GameOn Forge's launchpad is designed to ensure that both the projects and the community members participating in token sales experience mutual and maximum benefits.
The launchpad will host both gaming and non-gaming related projects, giving users access to tokens from a wide variety of top-tier WEB3 startups, ranging from social apps and infrastructure to AI and shopping applications, etc.
How It Works
Launchpad participation will be open to both token holders and Quest/Mission participants, allowing for token distribution across a broader community while rewarding the value provided through awareness campaigns and quests.
The launchpad will host both private sale offerings and public/initial dex offerings (IDOs) and will be the last step for projects in the GameOn Forge ecosystem before listing their token on public exchanges.
Private Sales - Private sales are funding rounds that enable access to a project's tokens at a lower valuation than public or IDO rounds. While the token price is lower, private rounds are usually accompanied by a longer token vesting schedule than public rounds. Private sales will ONLY be open to $GOF token holders/stakers.
Initial Dex Offerings (IDOs)/Public Sales - IDOs enable projects to build a base community of token holders while raising necessary funds, right before listing their token on public exchanges. This round enables launchpad participants to access their favorite nascent WEB3 project tokens at a set and generally lower price than post-exchange listing.
Participation in the GameOn Forge Launchpad - A tier system and pool weight formula will be used to calculate allocation for launchpad participants. (The full mechanics of this system will be shared at a later date.)
Users who want to participate in token sales on the launchpad will have multiple options to do so, including holding $GOF tokens and converting Social Points (IDOs only) earned by participating in quests and missions through the Quests/Missions dashboard. Several multipliers will be available for users to increase their allocations.
Holding $GOF Tokens - Simply holding $GOF tokens in their wallet will allow a user to participate in token sales.
Staking $GOF Tokens - If a user chooses to stake their tokens through the GameOn Forge staking dashboard, they will unlock a multiplier that will increase allocation for token sales.
Converting *GF Social Points* for Launchpad Allocation - Quests and Missions will play a significant role in raising awareness for projects incubated and launched through the GameOn Forge ecosystem. The points earned by performing these tasks and completing quests and missions will be convertible to token allocation in Public Sales (or IDOs) on the launchpad.
To participate, users will simply need to *register interest* in a token sale and the necessary amount of points will automatically be subtracted from their account, based on their level of allocation. Users will then be able to purchase the corresponding amount of tokens when the sale goes live.
Holding a GameOn Forge NFT - Participants who own an NFT from the Keepers of the Forge collection will have the option to hold or stake their NFT to unlock another multiplier level that further complements their held/staked tokens and increases their launchpad allocation.
Registering to participate in a token sale - Users will be required to register their interest in participating in a private or public sale through the Launchpad dashboard. There will be a specified period to do so before the token sale goes live. This method ensures maximum allocation for interested participants and minimizes the need for additional phases to sell remaining tokens.
Purchasing Tokens on the Launchpad - Once a token sale is live, users who registered interest will be able to contribute to the funding pool and purchase their allotted token amount through the Launchpad dashboard.
Any unsold tokens may be sold through additional phases or on a first come, first served (FCFS) basis.
Selecting Projects for the Launchpad - Initially, projects hosted on the launchpad will be selected by the GameOn Forge team.
Further along the development roadmap, the selection process for projects hosted on the launchpad will be performed through DAO voting. The DAO will include GameOn Forge NFT holders, $GOF token holders, and active participants in the GameOn Forge platform, including gamers and quest/mission participants. *(For more information, see the XP section of this whitepaper.)
