Gamified Quests And Missons

The Quests and Missions Launchpad is a powerful and innovative feature within the GameOn Forge ecosystem. Purposely structured to provide mutual benefits for projects, investors, and gamers, this gamified mechanism will play a central role in community building, game launches, user acquisition, and product development for all projects working with GameOn Forge. It is meticulously designed to foster growth and create awareness, through interactive community participation.

How It Works

Projects will be able to sponsor campaigns to promote their game/product, enhance social awareness, grow their community, or engage users in product/game testing and feedback loops to improve or streamline their product(s).

There will be various campaign options for projects to choose from, based on their specific strategies, goals, and support requirements.

Community members will be able to choose from the active campaigns posted on the Quests and Missions page and participate in whichever capacity best suits their available time, skills, or preferred level of engagement.

Completing quests/missions will be rewarded via a points system, which is outlined in the section below.

Quests vs Missions

Quests

Quests are intended to create visibility for GameOn Forge and partner projects, through community members performing simple tasks on social media platforms. These tasks may include liking, sharing, or commenting on social media posts, following projects' social accounts, and so on. Quests focus on creating awareness through community collaborations that activate algorithms and deliver results without requiring specific skills or a great deal of dedicated time and effort.

Missions

Missions will generally be project-specific and aim to engage users who want to contribute at a deeper level. These campaigns may be used to promote new games, build communities, and collaborate with users to test products/games and provide feedback to developers. Missions create an opportunity for users/gamers to utilize skills and knowledge to contribute to the growth and development of the projects and games they are passionate about.

Participation in Missions will be rewarded with Social Points (SP) and Experience Points (XP) *Please see the Rewards section below for more information*

Dual Points Rewards System

GameOn Forge has designed a unique and interactive rewards structure to foster and maintain a vibrant and collaborative environment for users and projects within the GameOn Forge ecosystem.

This mechanism utilizes a dual points system as rewards metrics, based on contributions and actions taken by a user. GameOn Forge's rewards system opens the door for everyone to access value and opportunities, in exchange for the value they provide through dedicating time and effort.

Social Points (SP)

Social Points are designed to incentivize community participation in providing value to the GameOn Forge ecosystem and ecosystem partners. Similar in function to points earned by using a credit card, Social Points hold value within the GameOn Forge ecosystem.

Social Points are NOT currency, can ONLY be earned through participation, and are NOT transferable between accounts, but they ARE convertible to access tangible or real-world value.

1. Earning SP

SP will be earned by participating in Quests and Missions, participating in project launches, as well as downloading and engaging with games listed on the GameOn Forge Marketplace.

2. Social Points Use Cases

IDOs - SP allows users who don't hold $GOF tokens to access public round token sales on the GameOn Forge launchpad, a unique feature that enables the exchange of contributed value for exciting opportunities that translate to real-world value

Exclusive Rewards - Users will be able to exchange Social Points to gain access to, and claim exclusive NFT rewards and items from GameOn Forge and partner projects.

Game Testing Events - SP will be redeemable to gain access to exclusive game testing events.

Leaderboard - SP will also contribute to a user's standing on the GameOn Forge Leaderboard.

Experience Points (XP)

Experience Points (XP) serve their own unique and powerful purpose within the GameOn Forge ecosystem. A user's XP total is the cumulative value of their overall achievements and contributions made to the platform and will determine their influence in a variety of scenarios.

1. Earning XP

User actions that will accumulate XP, include; participation in token launches, completing Missions, NFT marketplace purchases, downloading and playing games listed on the marketplace, and providing feedback through game tests, as well as other community contributions.

2. Experience Points Use Cases

Unlike Social Points, XP is not designed to be exchanged or redeemed for other forms of value. Instead, Experience Points will serve as a measurement of achievement and influence, as well as a tool to encourage healthy competition via a platform leaderboard, in the spirit of gamification.

Influence (Proof-of-Play) - XP may play a crucial role in the platform's governance decisions, once a DAO system is implemented.

The level of a user's XP will help determine their influence in governance decisions, utilizing a 'Proof-Of-Play' system, where Contributions=XP=Influence (or voting power). This scenario grants more dedicated users a more powerful voice

Leaderboard - Earned XP will showcase a user's contributions via the GameOn Forge Leaderboard. This includes the potential to unlock added benefits when certain levels are achieved, along with recognition from the community for their dedication and value they've contributed.

GameOn Forge Leaderboard

The GameOn Forge Leaderboard is a valuable component in our efforts to bridge value and healthy competition. More than merely a platform to showcase achievements, the leaderboard will leverage gamers' instinctive competitive nature to help drive engagement through Quests and Missions, using incentives only accessible by moving up the rankings.

With the leaderboard, the goal is to utilize gamification to create fun competitive rivalries that enhance the experience of the users on the platform while simultaneously creating even more value for partner projects and the GameOn Forge ecosystem.

Leaderboard Rewards - Moving up the ranks on the leaderboard will enable participants to unlock exclusive rewards. This includes, but isn't limited to; special statuses and badges, exclusive NFT assets or game items, access to exclusive events, and access to special discounts on the NFT and Game Marketplaces.
